Unaccustomed as I am……………………

………………………to bemoaning my lot, I am going to bleat on about this shoulder again - briefly. Although there may be ‘a bit floating about in it’ I discovered yesterday that I appear to have galloping arthritis in it - ‘Acromioclavicular O.A.’ to give it it’s Sunday name. Sooooo……………..surgery to chop and scrape it a bit, and a lot of weeks getting better - so the beading really is going to suffer, which is the point of making this public. Ce la vie………………….which translated is ‘bugger’.

NUUK - THE CAPITAL OF GREENLAND…………………….COOL EH?

Veronica!

At last I finished something! ‘Veronica’ is theoretically a component recycling project, made up of things I couldn’t make work at the time - I think she works now though.

So here’s Veronica, very purple, and very nightime-y……………………..

A Peter by any other name…………………

Google ‘Beadsage’ and you will get Peter Sewell and Peter Farrington……………………….both me. For those who missed last year’s exciting instalment I changed my name by deed poll, and informed everyone, except, it seems, the domain registration people Nominet. Which is why I’m still showing as my old name, and people are getting confused! This has been rectified today - I shall henceforth be Peter Sewell - Beadsage……………………………probably.

On a lighter note, I’ve taken the leap of faith and submitted three of my designs to ‘Beadwork’ magazine for publication. Now I realise I am leaving myself open to comment if they don’t accept any of them, but I thought you may like to know - I always said I wouldn’t go down the ‘magazine’ route to fame, and I don’t think fame is the reason for doing this, it’s probably more of a ‘joining in’ game with my American contemporaries who dazzle us all with their own designs in print! I’ll keep you posted.

I haven’t aged much you know……………………..tmpphpeqhxyq.jpg
