So……………this is what we did on Saturday. Sparkly Christmas Baskets - with lots of Swarovski crystals, everyone managed to make one with no problems, so I think I might put this out as a complete kit (all instructions, beads, thread, and needle) at £10 each in time for Christmas. They measure 2″ around. E mail me or comment if you want one, because I’m not going to do a lot of advertising for this - it’s only going to be available until mid December! This is going to be one of the weekend workshop projects at The Bead Shop in Edinburgh next February. I now have to try and write some instructions, I really should do it at the time, but I get so carried away with the design I forget to write………….and eat………….and drink!

………………….a cartilage operation meant you spent 10 days in hospital - had mine done on Monday and I’m walking again! Still a bit bruised, but feeling OK, and nearly finished new piece - really embarrassed because I’ve had to order delicas to do the necklace, I thought I had some, but obviously I didn’t! This is the necklace for the Edinburgh workshop next February, so it’s had to be designed with a view to being able to write clear instructions - it’s going to be called ‘Sasha’. Nothing to do with my amazingly talented granddaughter……………………..honestly.

I’ll be offline for a few days until I get back to walking after a little knee operation. Never knew I had little knees did you? So if I don’t answer e mails it isn’t because I don’t love you, it’s because I never had the foresight to put a phoneline in the bedroom! Oh, and if Jacqui is reading this - I think I gave you the wrong green beads, I have some in a bag here that I forgot about! I’ll sort it out at the next workshop……………………….might get the brain sorted while I’m in theatre! Back in a couple of days.
