Beadsage.com is not closing!

I am keeping my online shop open at Beadsage.com! I had decided to close it, but circumstances have led me to continue using it as my online shop for the forseeable future. I have also put the full kit for ‘Chloe - Sapphire & Steel’ back on site……………………….I dunno……………just when you’re ready for the removal van…………………!

Next workshop October 25th

Well, this morning was not the easiest task I’ve ever undertaken, but the ladies in my beading workshop took 2 needle right angle weave with fire polished glass beads in their stride! I always underestimate this lesson - mainly because I assume everyone can use both hands independently of each other……………………not the case. It’s deceptively hard trying to remember which needle is top, bottom, left or right - like the first time you drove a car and had to steer and change gear at the same time, easy when you know how!

Anyway, they get a rest at the next workshop, we’re going to make some christmassy earrings in spirals, coralling, and anything else I can come up with………………….but only if it’s with one needle. If you’re interested give me an e mail on beadsage@googlemail.com - this one’s only £10 for the three hours!

Beadsage.com is moving home!

I’m going to move the stock from my online shop - beadsage.com - to my Etsy site www.petersewell.etsy.com

Etsy is often described as e bay for crafters and designers, it only has handmade and handcrafted work usually by self representing designers. It also goes out to a wider international customer base, being based in the US, this means all prices are in US dollars, but it’s easy enough to do a quick conversion to sterling.

My gallery at www.beadsage.co.uk is still going, and I’ll be adding workshop dates, finished designs, and any other information I can think of to this site.

I shall now go and spend the next few days photographing my stock for Etsy…………………………again!

……………and off we go again!!

Right, it’s time to come back with a vengeance! I have had a whole lot of stuff going on lately, which has kept me rather occupied, so Beadsage.com and Petersewell.co.uk have taken a bit of a back seat………………….but no longer!! I have booked a stand at the Staffordshire Bead Fair next April - www.staffsbeadfair.co.uk , I begin my ‘proper’ teacher training course on Monday, so I can bring seedbeading to the masses as well as those of you in the private sector! Jo from The Bead Shop Scotland - www.thebeadshopscotland.co.uk - has invited me to do a couple of workshops over a weekend in February, so it’s not exactly standing still is it? I am also working on a new design - with a new stitch to me - which is looking very good at the moment, I’m not showing anything because there is still the chance it could get thrown at the first cat to look at me funny. On that note……………………..
